Riviera Nayarit

Cross the Ameca river north of the Puerto Vallarta airport and you are in Nayarit. The first stretch is Nuevo Vallarta and Bucerías, family beaches with wide sand and the calmest water in the bay, plus most of the region's new residential developments. Then the road climbs to Punta Mita, where the Four Seasons and St. Regis sit, and drops into Sayulita and San Pancho, the surf towns that turned into the coolest small villages on the Pacific.

We cover the Riviera hard because so much of our network is here: vacation rentals, boat charters from the Nuevo Vallarta marina, boutique hotels in San Pancho, land developments in Bucerías and Litibú. If you want the bay without the city, this is your side of the river.
